Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting for a Vehicle Panel Beater in North Gloucestershire. The role involves repairing and replacing damaged panels, conducting chassis and framework repairs, and delivering high-quality workmanship in a modern workshop.

We offer a competitive hourly rate (£15-£22) based on experience, 40 hours per week, and 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and your birthday off, with access to training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater in a fast-paced workshop.
• On-the-job experience is essential; formal qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Good communication and team-oriented attitude; multitasking capability.
• UK driving licence with minimal points; ATA accreditation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace damaged bodywork panels and perform chassis and framework repairs.
• Assess vehicle damage and implement appropriate repair methods.
• Carry out bumper and door repairs as required.
• Ensure all panel beating work meets internal and third-party quality standards.
• Work collaboratively to maintain a smooth workshop flow and uphold health and safety standards.

Duties of the Panel Beater:

• Replacement and repair of damaged or compromised bodywork panels
• Conduct chassis and framework repairs
• Assess vehicle damage accurately and implement appropriate repair methods
• Perform bumper and door repairs as required
• Ensure all panel beating and repair works meet both internal and third-party quality standards
• Work collaboratively within a team to ensure smooth operational flow
• Maintain high standards of health and safety within the workshop

Requirements:

• Current or recent experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater
• Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are desirable but not essential
• Strong "on the job" experience within a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Ability to multitask effectively
• UK driving licence with minimal points
• ATA accreditation or experience working to BSI 10125 Kitemark Standards is highly desirable but not essential
