Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd in York is seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join a reputable accident repair centre. You will replace and repair damaged bodywork, work on chassis and framework, and deliver high standards of customer service.

This role offers a competitive salary up to £59,800 per year, a 50-hour week with paid breaks, 25 days of holiday plus 8 bank holidays, in-house training and staff uniform, with clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in automotive Panel Beating or working towards IMI certification.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Good organisation and prioritisation skills.
• UK driving licence with minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Replace and repair damaged or compromised bodywork panels.
• Conduct chassis and framework repairs.
• Perform welding and panel bonding tasks.
• Complete bumper and door repairs as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of current repair techniques.
• Deliver high levels of customer service to promote loyalty and referrals.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and maintain an orderly work environment.
• Complete duties as specified on job cards and meet manufacturer and company standards.
• Prioritise workload, working independently while supporting teammates during busy periods.

A reputable accident repair centre in York is actively seeking an experienced Panel Beater to join their busy team. • Working hours: Monday to Friday, with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings subject to business demand

• Replace and repair damaged or compromised bodywork panels
• Conduct chassis and framework repairs
• Perform welding and panel bonding tasks
• Complete bumper and door repairs as needed
• Maintain thorough knowledge of current product and repair techniques
• Deliver high levels of customer service to promote customer loyalty and referrals
• Adhere to health and safety standards and maintain an orderly work environment
• Complete duties as specified on job cards, ensuring work meets manufacturer and company standards
• Prioritise workload effectively, working independently while supporting team members during busy periods

Requirements:

• Recognised qualification in automotive Panel Beating or actively working towards an IMI certification
• Consideration will also be given to Panel Beaters with extensive panel beating experience and no formal qualifications
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Good organisation skills and initiative to prioritise tasks
• Ability to work independently whilst maintaining effective communication with colleagues
• A UK driving licence with minimal points
