Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with current nursing registration.
• Experience working in a palliative care setting.
• Knowledge of symptom management, end of life care and recognising palliative care emergencies.
• Understanding of the key CQC standards.
• Proven commitment to continuous personal development.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient centred care as part of a small multidisciplinary team.
• Support development of clinical practice on the inpatient unit and contribute to service development.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Act to ensure compassionate, high-quality care for patients and families.
