Job summary

Marie Curie is seeking an End-of-Life Care Clinical Nurse Specialist to work in Exeter, partnering with GP practices, community services and colleagues to improve experiences of care and help people remain in their preferred place of care wherever possible.

This 37.5-hour-per-week permanent role (Band 6) offers a supportive learning environment with mentorship, ongoing professional development and access to NHS pension and annual leave entitlements. Salary: £39,959–£48,117 per annum.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration as an Adult Nurse.
• Experience supporting people with complex health needs and/or End of Life Care needs.
• Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Experience of care planning and coordinating care across services.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside GP practices, community services and Marie Curie colleagues to improve experiences of care.
• Support people to remain in their preferred place of care wherever possible.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver person-centred end-of-life care.
• Engage in sensitive conversations and share knowledge to develop skills within the team.
