Stockport NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Macmillan Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist—Band 7. Full-time and part-time hours are available across community and hospital settings.

You will provide expert palliative and end-of-life care, support and education, supervise junior staff, and coordinate care with primary and secondary teams. The role requires travel across multiple community sites, weekend/Bank holiday rota, and a commitment to patient safety and service

Qualifikationen

• High level of clinical skill and experience in managing palliative and end-of-life care.
• Ability to supervise and mentor Band 6 and below staff.
• Excellent communication skills for sensitive conversations and breaking bad news.

Aufgaben

• Provide specialist palliative care, advice and support to patients with cancer or life-limiting conditions and their carers.
• Lead service development, educational audit and research projects.
• Provide specialist palliative care education and training to the multi-professional team across care settings.
