Qualifications

• First Level Registered Nurse with current UK registration.
• Palliative care experience essential.
• Excellent communication skills across verbal, written and presentation formats.
• Versatile and flexible with the ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assess needs of patients and families and provide appropriate support.
• Advise and support the multidisciplinary team on pain and symptom control.
• Contribute to education programmes and learning materials with the Education Department.
• Participate in audit, research and clinical governance activities.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation and maintain patient records.
• Provide bereavement support to families and carers.
