Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated nurse to join the Integrated Palliative Care Team in Harrogate. This part-time post (30 hours) offers opportunities to develop specialist palliative and end-of-life care skills in the community setting.

The post holder will provide advanced specialist nursing assessment, support and advice to patients with life-limiting illness and their families, in line with the WY & H Core Competency Framework for Palliative Care CNS.

Qualifikationen

• Excellent communication skills and passion for delivering high-quality holistic end-of-life care.
• Evidence of development in leadership and management roles.
• Post-registration education or qualification in cancer/palliative care (minimum 20 credits) or prepared to work towards.

• Provide advanced specialist nursing assessment and management advice for patients with life-limiting illness in the community.
• Contribute to education provision and service improvements within the specialist palliative care service.
