An established industry player is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join their hospice specialist nursing team. As we develop our hospice specialist nursing team to meet the increasing need within our communities, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, forward-thinking, enthusiastic, and motivated registered nurse to join us and play a significant role in shaping our services as well as your own development. You must have significant experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in palliative and end-of-life care, be a non-medical prescriber, and able to work as an accountable and autonomous practitioner alongside the multi-professional team whilst managing a caseload of patients in the community.
The successful candidate will already be working in the field of palliative care and will need to demonstrate drive and a can-do attitude to support the delivery of the service and service developments. Although not directly line managing the team, the post holder will demonstrate strong clinical leadership capabilities to support the clinical work of the team, manage competing priorities, and support the day-to-day running of the service. The postholder will also support the development of external relationships and collaborative approaches to care across Blackburn with Darwen.
East Lancashire Hospice is a registered charity, founded in 1984. We support and care for patients with a life-limiting illness, their families, and others close to them. Our services are provided at the hospice and in patients' homes across Blackburn, Darwen, Hyndburn, and the Ribble Valley.

The role requires current UK professional registration and a DBS check due to the nature of the work. The position is full-time, permanent, with a salary of £48,708 per year, depending on experience. The work location is Park Lee Road, Blackburn, BB2 3NY.
