Job summary

Simpled Services Ltd is looking for skilled decorators to work on both occupied and empty properties, turning around spaces quickly to a standard that passes inspection. The work centers on thorough preparation, filling, sanding, caulking and priming, while staying neat and safe in live environments and moving fast on turnaround jobs.

You must have a real decorating background with demonstrable finished work, public liability insurance (or willingness to obtain it), the right to work in the UK

Qualifications

• Real decorating background with finished work you can show.
• Public liability insurance, or willing to get it before your first job.
• The right to work in the UK, and registered as self-employed (CIS where the work is construction).
• Your own tools and your own transport.
• A phone you can take photos on. Every job is signed off with pictures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare properly. Fill, sand, caulk and prime before anything else goes on.
• Work clean in occupied homes, and fast in empty ones.
• Match existing finishes when the job is a repair rather than a full redecoration.
• Photograph the room before and after, and flag anything that needs another trade.
