Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator for an ongoing construction project in Hailsham. You will perform internal painting and decorating to a high-quality finish, preparing surfaces, filling imperfections, and applying sealants. Immediate start offered on a long-term assignment with weekly pay.

Candidates must have CSCS card, own tools and PPE, and demonstrate reliable, independent work with excellent attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites preferred.
• Must have valid CSCS card.
• Own tools and PPE required.
• Ability to deliver a high-quality finish independently.

Responsibilities

• Internal painting and decorating.
• Prepare walls, ceilings and woodwork for painting.
• Fill holes, cracks and surface imperfections.
• Carry out snagging to a high standard.
• Apply mastic and sealants around internal finishes.
• Touch-up painting and final finishing works.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area.
