The position supports the company’s zero-carbon initiatives. The base salary ranges from £28,792 to £33,532 depending on experience, with 39 hours per week and a 1-in-3 weekend rota plus a 15% weekend allowance.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an on-site Painter & Decorator in HMP Nottingham.

The standard hours of work are 39-hours per week, 8am - 5pm.

There is a need to work 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).

The base salary is between £28,792 - £33,532 dependant on experience.

The Painter/Decorator plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner.

What you will do:

• Planned and reactive paint work in all areas of the prison.
• Responsibility for the care and maintenance of tools, materials and additional company property.
• Compliance with relevant company Health & Safety Policy, instructions and directive.
• This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate.
