Job summary

Gov Facilities Services Limited (GFSL) is seeking a dedicated Painter & Decorator for HMP Eastwood Park. The role is permanent, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, within a closed Category C female prison. You will join a supportive team and contribute to a safe, rehabilitative environment for staff and prisoners.

The position offers a salary of £31,729.91 per annum and a focus on safety, teamwork, and professional development within GFSL’s facilities maintenance team.

Qualifications

• A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating or equivalent (or significant experience/time served in a similar role)
• Experience working in a maintenance team
• An honest and reliable character, who can approach their work with a sense of purpose and pace
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
