Job summary

Amey is seeking a professional Painter/Decorator to join our team at HMP Frankland in Durham. This 39-hour role covers planned and reactive painting across the prison estate, with a rota including weekends, and a 15% allowance on top of basic pay.

You should hold NVQ Level 3 in Painting and Decorating (Level 2 considered) and have experience in commercial, industrial, or facilities management settings. A strong commitment to health and safety in a secure environment is essential; training and

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Painting and Decorating (applications from NVQ Level 2 will be considered).
• Experience in painting and decorating in commercial/industrial/facilities management environments.
• Strong health and safety awareness including risk assessments and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality planned and reactive painting and decorating works across the prison estate.
• Maintain safe, clean and professional environments for staff, visitors and prisoners.
• Care for, maintain and safely use tools, equipment and materials.
