Position: Painter Decorator

Location: HM Prison Bullingdon

Starting Salary: £27,945.35 per annum

Contract: Full Time - Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B male prison. Join a team that is more than just colleagues - we work Monday to Friday as a supportive and driven family, creating a safe and nurturing environment.

HMP Bullingdon operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, we are committed to ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

As a Painter Decorator, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment.

We are a five-year-old Ministry of Justice business providing critical, time-bound services to HMPPS, seeking a Painter Decorator with:

1. A City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Painting and Decorating (or equivalent)
2. Experience working in a maintenance team
3. An honest and reliable character with a sense of purpose and pace
4. Good Health & Safety knowledge
5. Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
