Role

We have an opportunity for a Painter & Decorator to join our team in Kingston. The primary focus of this role will be carrying out a range of external and internal mould treatments, painting, and minor repairs in occupied properties while achieving a durable quality finish.

Key Tasks / Activities / Responsibilities

• Work independently in occupied properties
• Maintain good communication and liaison skills; be polite, respectful, and presentable; suitable for local tradespeople
• Demonstrate high customer care standards
• Report to and liaise with the Supervisor for efficient service delivery
• Act responsibly and diligently in duties
• Comply with Health and Safety legislation and wear Personal Protective Equipment
• Follow employer policies and promote Equal Opportunities
• Complete timesheets, work sheets, and reports accurately
• Perform duties as directed by management, including paperwork and database updates
• Work as part of a team and mentor colleagues and apprentices
• Ensure safety standards are met and aim for first-time fixes
• Accept jobs across different areas as required
• Assist with Health and Safety inspections and risk assessments
• Adhere to regulatory standards and support cost reduction initiatives
• Work in various locations, including heights and confined spaces, with appropriate training
• Maintain a full toolkit at all times
