Job description

We are looking for a multi-skilled qualified painter & decorator to join our East Dorset Team.

What you’ll be doing

You will be completing painting and decorating repairs from start to finish, including identifying underlying issues and ensuring decoration is of a high standard.

You will also handle plaster repairs to walls and ceilings, textured coatings, wall tiling, and if you have skills in carpentry, plumbing, or laying vinyl flooring, that will be a bonus.

You’ll work within our communities, so a customer service focus and an inquisitive mind to resolve problems are essential.

About you

You should have a painter and decorator qualification, such as NVQ, or a proven track record in this field.

You must be able to identify causes of issues and specify materials needed for repairs.

Effective communication and managing expectations with internal and external customers are important, as you will work with various teams.

A full UK manual driving licence is required as you will have access to a company vehicle.
