We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter and Decorator to join our hotel’s maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the appearance of the hotel by performing high-quality painting, decorating, and minor repair work in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. This role is vital in upholding the brand standards and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.

Carry out all painting and decorating tasks, including
surface preparation, paint application, wallpapering, and minor repairs.

Maintain high standards of finish in all guest rooms,
corridors, restaurants, lobbies, and other hotel areas.

Assess and report on the condition of surfaces and recommend
appropriate treatment or materials.

Work closely with the engineering and housekeeping
departments to schedule painting work with minimal disruption to guests.

Ensure safe use of ladders, scaffolds, and other tools and
equipment.

Select and mix appropriate paints and materials to achieve
desired finishes and match existing colours.

Protect all furniture, fixtures, and fittings during
decorating work.

Maintain a tidy and organized work area and properly store
tools and materials.

Ensure compliance with hotel safety, security, and hygiene
standards at all times.
