Job summary

Stow Healthcare is seeking a Painter and Decorator to maintain safe, comfortable homes for residents and staff. Reporting to the Home Manager and Group Maintenance Manager, you’ll perform day-to-day painting and decorating across our portfolio of homes and help ensure compliance and high standards.

Painter and Decorator at Stow Healthcare

As a Painter and Decorator, you’ll help keep our homes safe, comfortable, and well maintained for residents, visitors, and colleagues. Reporting to the Home Manager and Group Maintenance Manager, you’ll carry out day-to-day hard landscaping tasks, ensure compliance standards are met and take part in an on call rota to respond to emergencies. This role forms part of our Property/Maintenance Project Team and will work across our portfolio of homes.

• Practical and hands-on approach to Painting and Decorating tasks to include preparation, painting, decorating, making good of vacant bedrooms and communal areas.
• Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong work ethic
• Take pride in delivering high-quality work
• A cost-conscious approach to purchasing and sourcing materials

• Keep facilities well-presented and well-maintained
