Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is working with a well-established Cambridge-based organisation to recruit a skilled Painter and Decorator for a permanent role across student accommodation, fellows' rooms and various historic and modern buildings.

You will join the in-house Works Department, enjoy structured hours, and a steady pipeline of decorating work across the estate. The role offers long-term stability, training, and excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Painting and decorating experience with high workmanship standards.
• NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating preferred (or substantial relevant experience).
• Full UK driving licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Painting and decorating across an established Cambridge site.
• Working on student accommodation, fellows' rooms and buildings.
• Based from the Works Department and moving site-to-site as needed.
• Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:00pm, Friday 8:00am-4:00pm (39 hours, 1 hour unpaid lunch)
• Following health & safety procedures (training provided)

Cambridge (Commutable from: Ely, Newmarket, Huntingdon, St Neots, Royston, Saffron Walden, Haverhill)

Are you a Painter and Decorator, Maintenance Painter or Decorator looking for a stable, long-term role with consistent hours and a high-quality working environment? Do you want to take pride in your finish and work across a varied, prestigious estate where standards matter and your work is valued?

On offer is a permanent position within a well-established Cambridge-based organisation, carrying out painting and decorating across student accommodation, fellows' rooms and a range of historic and modern buildings. You'll be part of an in-house Works Department team, with structured working hours and a steady pipeline of work across the estate.

This organisation is known for maintaining exceptionally high standards across its buildings and facilities. Due to ongoing upkeep and continued requirements across the estate, they are looking to add a skilled decorator to support their internal maintenance function.

In this role you will be based from the Works Department, working across the wider site delivering high-quality prep and finishing work while following all health and safety procedures (with training provided).

This role would suit a Painter and Decorator with strong practical skills, looking for long-term stability, consistent hours, and a role where attention to detail and workmanship are genuinely appreciated.
