Job summary

GreenSquareAccord is seeking a hands-on Painter and Decorator to cover social housing properties across Walsall and Wolverhampton. The role involves internal/external painting, surface preparation, and wallpaper hanging, with travel between sites and a strong focus on quality finishes.

We value reliability, pride in workmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A full UK driving licence is required; a DBS check is expected after a successful offer.

Qualifications

• Previous painting and decorating experience is preferred.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel between sites.
• DBS check may be required after offer.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of internal and external painting and decorating.
• Preparing surfaces - filling, sanding, priming, and undercoating.
• Applying finishes such as gloss, emulsion, and stain block to a professional standard.
• Treating mould-affected areas, including mould washing and stain block where needed.
• Hanging wallpaper and carrying out touch-up and maintenance work.
• Maintaining tools, materials, and a tidy workspace.
• Travelling to properties across different sites.
• Working as part of a supportive, skilled team to deliver great results for residents.
• Following all health and safety guidelines.

Salary: £27,363 - £28,181.47

Contract type: Permanent

Working hours: 39 per week

We`re looking for a Painter and Decorator to join our team, working across a range of social housing properties to help keep homes safe, comfortable, and looking their best.

About the role
