Job summary

Connexions Thames Valley is seeking a Painter and Decorator to maintain and decorate social housing properties in the East Midlands. The role is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek from 8am to 6pm, and requires a UK manual driving licence to operate company van during working hours.

Applicants should have social housing or local authority experience and hold an NVQ2 or an equivalent trade qualification.

Job description

Title: Painter and Decorator

Location: East Midlands

Salary: �28,384 - �29,878

Working hours/pattern: 40 hours per week between 8am – 6pm.

Requirements

• Previously worked in a social housing or local authority environment
• Relevant NVQ2 qualification or equivalent trade experience

Driving

• A full UK manual driving licence (you will provided with your own Metworks van for working hours).
• A minimum of one year of significant driving experience. (MTVH reserves the right to withdraw an offer of employment if company fleet policy is unable to secure adequate insurance.)
