Job summary

Thirteen Group is seeking a time-served Painter to join the Repairs team on a permanent basis. You will carry out painting works in our customers’ homes to tackle damp and mould issues, with a company van, fuel card, tools and PPE supplied.

Based mainly in the Tees Valley area (Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough), the role runs 8am–4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am–3:30pm Friday, with overtime rota and callout duties available.

Qualifications

• Time served as a Painter.
• Damp and mould experience preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Comfortable using digital devices and mobile/hand-held job allocation tools.
• Skilled in general semi-skilled works and willing to assist in various trades.
• Commitment to safe working practices and health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out painting works, taking pride in doing the job right first time.
• Provide homes with a high standard of finish using company van, fuel card, tools and PPE.
• Work primarily in the Tees Valley area (Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough).
• Contribute to planned repairs as directed by Work Planners.
• Support the TradePlus scheme to broaden skills and improve efficiency.

Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Painter on a permanent basis to join our Repairs team. Working as part of a specialist in-house team, you’ll complete painting jobs in our customers’ homes to tackle damp and mould issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out painting works, taking pride in doing the job right first time.
• Ensure our homes meet the highest standards for our customers. We’ll provide you with a company van, fuel card, tools and any PPE you’ll need for the role.
• Work primarily in the Tees Valley area (Hartlepool, Stockton, Middlesbrough), with occasional travel beyond. Our working hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 3.30pm on Friday.
• Jobs are planned for you by our Work Planners – so you can concentrate on carrying out repairs to a high standard.
• Contribute to our ‘TradePlus’ scheme, acquiring diverse skills to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

About You:

• Time served experience as a Painter.
• Ideally, you’ll have damp and mould experience.
• Must possess a valid UK driving licence.
• Comfortable using digital devices or be willing to learn. We use mobile and hand-held devices to allocate jobs and for you to record your completion of work.
• Skilled in general semi-skilled works and eager to assist in various trades.
• A commitment to safe working practices and a good grasp of health and safety regulations.
