Build Recruitment is seeking a Painter to join a damp & mould maintenance team in Redditch and Birmingham (South). The role involves painting repairs in occupied domestic properties, with the ability to perform basic secondary trades and deliver high-quality maintenance.

The position runs for a minimum of five months, with 42.5 hours per week, in a client-facing environment. You will work in social housing settings, requiring strong communication and customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in Painting.
• Experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

About the Role: Build Recruitment is currently seeking a Painter to join our client's damp & mould maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within occupied domestic properties, upgrades and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a variety of painting repairs in domestic/social housing settings
• Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties
• Conduct secondary trade work to a competent standard (e.g., basic plumbing, tiling, etc.)
• Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits

Requirements:

• NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in Painting
• Previous experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to perform basic secondary trades (desirable)
