Service Care is recruiting an experienced Painter & Decorator to cover Bracknell and surrounding areas. The role involves painting, decorating and finishing works in social housing properties, with a 12-week temporary contract leading to a permanent role.

The position requires independent work, strong preparation and finish skills, and a valid UK driving licence. A company van is provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator.
• Experience in social housing or property maintenance is desirable.
• Strong painting, decorating and surface prep knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Trade qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works.
• Prepare surfaces, including sanding, filling and making good.
• Apply paint, wallpaper and other decorative finishes.
• Complete decorating works within occupied and void social housing properties.
• Carry out minor repairs and associated preparation works.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
• Work independently to complete allocated jobs within agreed timescales.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety.

Painter & Decorator Location: Bracknell, Berkshire Pay Rate: £23.00 per hour Umbrella Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Contract: 12-week temporary to permanent Vehicle: Company Van Provided

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a well-established housing association covering Bracknell and the surrounding areas. The role involves carrying out painting, decorating and general finishing works within social housing properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard. The position will initially be offered on a 12-week temporary basis, with the intention of transitioning into a permanent role.
