Job summary

Think Recruitment are recruiting an experienced Painter & Decorator to complete decorating works on a social housing kitchen and bathroom programme. The position is based across Hereford and Worcestershire, with an ongoing programme for the next 4½ years.

A valid Blue CSCS Card, your own van, and the ability to travel are mandatory; rate is per day and applied online. Prepare surfaces, apply paints and finishes, protect fittings, and ensure a neat finish with thorough touch-ups.

Qualifications

• Previous painting and decorating experience.
• Strong preparation skills and attention to detail.
• A valid Blue CSCS Card - mandatory.
• Own van is required.
• Ability to travel across Hereford and Worcestershire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare walls, ceilings and woodwork for decorating.
• Fill, sand and make good surfaces following refurbishment works.
• Apply paints and finishes within kitchens and bathrooms.
• Protect newly installed units, bathroom fittings and flooring.
• Complete touch-ups and snagging to achieve a neat finish.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and coordinate with other trades.
