Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Painters to join a busy construction project in Alfreton, DE55. You will perform general painting and decorating duties on site, including surfaces preparation and finishing coats, to a high standard.

Requirements: CSCS card, own painting tools, full PPE, reliable and punctual, able to work independently or with a team, and able to commit to the full 3-week duration. Hours are full-time site hours with a rate of £20–£21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Painter on construction or commercial projects.
• CSCS card is preferred.
• Own painting tools to complete tasks.
• Full PPE provided/required.
• Able to commit to the full 3-week duration.

Responsibilities

PAINTERS REQUIRED – ALFRETON, DE55

We are currently looking for experienced Painters to join a busy construction project in Alfreton.

Location: Alfreton, DE55
Rate: £20–£21 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Approximately 3 weeks
Hours: Full-time site hours

THE ROLE

We are looking for reliable and experienced Painters who can work to a high standard and complete general painting and decorating duties on site.

Duties will include:

• Preparing surfaces before painting
• Emulsioning walls and ceilings
• Painting woodwork, doors and frames
• Applying undercoats and finishing coats
• Cutting in and achieving a clean finish
• Filling, sanding and preparing surfaces where required
• Protecting floors, fixtures and surrounding areas
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy
• Working alongside other trades on a busy construction site
• Following site health and safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a Painter on construction or commercial projects
• CSCS card
• Own painting tools
• Full PPE
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
