Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Painters to join a busy construction project in Alfreton, DE55. You will perform general painting and decorating duties on site, including surfaces preparation and finishing coats, to a high standard.

Requirements: CSCS card, own painting tools, full PPE, reliable and punctual, able to work independently or with a team, and able to commit to the full 3-week duration. Hours are full-time site hours with a rate of £20–£21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Painter on construction or commercial projects.
• CSCS card is preferred.
• Own painting tools to complete tasks.
• Full PPE provided/required.
• Able to commit to the full 3-week duration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces before painting and ensure a smooth finish.
• Emulsion walls and ceilings; paint woodwork, doors and frames.
• Protect floors and surrounding areas; keep site clean and safe.
