Job summary

Lithia UK, Evans Halshaw Leeds Bodyshop, is seeking a Paint Technician to join our state-of-the-art workshops. You will carry out all aspects of paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles and perform minor body repair work, using the latest equipment and best practices.

A full UK driving licence is essential, and a Body and Paint qualification (City & Guilds, IMI or BTEC) is required. We offer 33 days holiday, pension and exclusive staff discounts, with uncapped earning potential through OTE.

Qualifications

  • A relevant Body and Paint qualification (City & Guilds, IMI or BTEC).
  • Experience within a paint spraying role, automotive experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare paint spraying equipment and bodywork of the car

  • Basic salary of up to £36,400, dependent on skills and experience
  • OTE from £46,400, with UNCAPPED EARNING POTENTIAL

As a Paint Technician, you’ll be tasked with carrying out all aspects of paint spraying on a wide range of vehicles in our new, state-of-the-art workshops. Working with all the latest equipment, you will also be responsible for minor body repair work for vehicles.

To be a Paint Technician, it is essential that you hold a full UK drivers’ licence.

What does the role of Paint Technician involve?
