Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited in Glasgow is seeking a Paint Technician to prepare vehicles for paint, mix and apply manufacturer-standard finishes, and carry out repairs. You will work with a steady schedule (Mon-Thu, 7am-4pm; Fri 7am-3:30pm) with no weekends, and enjoy a bonus and progression opportunities within a busy motor-trade environment.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence and 1+ years’ experience, with NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 or ATA preferred and main dealership exposure

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license.
• 1+ years experience as a Paint Technician in the motor trade.
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 or ATA preferred, but time served considered.
• Main dealership experience is ideal but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles for paint including sanding, masking and priming.
• Mixing and applying paint to manufacturer standards.
• Carrying out paint repairs and full resprays.
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organised work area.

Salary – Up to £44,000 Basic + Bonuses (£6,000) + Overtime OTE 50k DOE & Qualifications

Days – Monday – Thursday, 7am - 4pm, Fridays 7am – 3:30pm, No Weekends
