Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited in Glasgow is seeking a Paint Technician to prepare vehicles for paint, mix and apply manufacturer-standard finishes, and carry out repairs. You will work with a steady schedule (Mon-Thu, 7am-4pm; Fri 7am-3:30pm) with no weekends, and enjoy a bonus and progression opportunities within a busy motor-trade environment.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence and 1+ years’ experience, with NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 or ATA preferred and main dealership exposure

Qualifications

Full UK driving license.
1+ years experience as a Paint Technician in the motor trade.
NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 or ATA preferred, but time served considered.
Main dealership experience is ideal but not essential.

Responsibilities

Preparing vehicles for paint including sanding, masking and priming.
Mixing and applying paint to manufacturer standards.
Carrying out paint repairs and full resprays.
Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
Maintaining a clean, organised work area.
