Key Responsibilities
- Follow detailed work instructions relating to paint finishing and polishing.
- Complete all station tasks to the required quality standards and within set timescales.
- Carry out exterior polishing using the correct materials, tools, and methods.
- Inspect completed vehicles to ensure a flawless finish with zero defects.
- Perform flattening, polishing, and touch‑up operations as required.
- Support problem‑solving activities relating to quality, cost, or productivity.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure correct disposal of hazardous and non‑hazardous materials.
- Maintain a clean, organised working environment and take care of tools and equipment.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Experience within an automotive or similar manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and a clear focus on quality.
- Able to follow established processes and work to defined timescales.
- Confident using polishing tools, materials, and associated equipment.
- Experience inspecting finished surfaces and identifying any defects.
- Familiarity with flattening, polishing, and touch‑up processes.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, modern OEM environment.
- Experience maintaining and cleaning equipment is beneficial.
