Job summary

Perfect Placement are seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer in Stoke-on-Trent to join a well-established accident repair group. You will prepare and spray vehicles to manufacturer standards, operate spray booths and maintain equipment with attention to safety and quality.

Applicants should have proven bodyshop experience, and IMI or ATA qualifications preferred. A full UK driving licence is essential and you will work within a busy team committed to high workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proven bodyshop experience in a similar role.
  • IMI or ATA qualifications preferred.
  • Ability to produce high-quality paint finishes.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and spray-painting vehicles to manufacturer standards.
  • Operating spray booths with attention to pressure and temperature settings.
  • Cleaning and maintaining spray guns and equipment for optimal performance.
  • Following strict safety procedures when handling hazardous materials.
  • Ensuring filters and air intakes are kept clean and compliant.
  • Wearing PPE at all times and disposing of waste safely.
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship on vehicle repairs.
  • Assisting with other bodyshop tasks as required.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Paint Sprayer position in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Duties of a Paint Sprayer:
  • Preparing and spray-painting vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Operating spray booths with attention to pressure and temperature settings
  • Cleaning and maintaining spray guns and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Following strict safety procedures when handling hazardous materials
  • Ensuring filters and air intakes are kept clean and compliant
  • Wearing appropriate PPE at all times and disposing of waste safely
  • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship on all vehicle repairs
  • Assisting with other bodyshop tasks as required
Requirements of a Paint Sprayer:
