Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Swindon is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join our modern bodyshop team. The role offers a competitive salary between £40,000 and £50,000 per year, depending on experience, plus overtime on Saturdays and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will prepare vehicles for painting, mask surfaces, carry out refinishing work, and polish to a high standard while adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer in a bodyshop setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• IMI/NVQ Level 3 in vehicle paint spraying is desirable but not essential if experience is strong.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting and ensure surfaces are ready for paintwork.
• Mask vehicles accurately before painting.
• Carry out minor repairs and refinishing work.
• Polish vehicles to remove defects and match colours.
• Mix paints to match vehicle colours and apply to a high standard.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.

Our client, a leading independent used van and commercial vehicle retailer based in Swindon, Wiltshire, is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer to join their modern bodyshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking to further their career within a reputable organisation. The Paint Sprayer role offers a competitive salary of between £40,000 and £50,000 per annum, depending on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. The working hours are from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays from 8:00am to 1:30pm on a rota basis, paid as overtime.

Duties of a Paint Sprayer:

• Prepare vehicles for painting, ensuring all surfaces are ready to accept paintwork
• Mask vehicles accurately prior to applying paint
• Carry out minor damage repairs and refinishing work
• Polish vehicles to remove defects in paintwork
• Mix paints to accurately match vehicle colours
• Apply paint products professionally and to a consistent high standard
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed at all times

Requirements of a Paint Sprayer:

• Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer
• Current or recent relevant work within a bodyshop environment
• IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle paint spraying is desirable but not essential if the individual has strong on-the-job experience
• Excellent attention to detail and team collaboration skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• A valid UK driving licence with minimal points
