Perfect Placement are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Paint Sprayer in Oldham. This role involves carrying out high-quality vehicle body repairs and painting within a busy commercial fleet environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a paint sprayer, panel beater, or body builder, ideally within the automotive or commercial vehicle sector.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures in an automotive repair environment.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Experience working on a range of vehicles including HGVs, vans, and cars.
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry out high-quality vehicle body repairs and painting on commercial fleet vehicles.
• Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and surface treatment.
• Apply primer, base coats, and clear coats with precision.
• Conduct minor bodywork repairs, filler application, and prepping for painting.
• Perform trailer repairs and welding activities as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.
• Complete quality control checks on finished work.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet deadlines and production targets.
