Job summary

A leading Accident Repair Centre in Ilkeston is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer for a twilight shift. The role offers a basic salary of £45,800 with an uncapped bonus scheme and a strong potential to earn £50,000+ OTE in a high-volume workshop.

You will prepare vehicles, mix and apply paint, colour-match to manufacturer specs, and perform final quality checks. A UK driving licence is required and NVQ/IMI/ATA qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician or Paint Sprayer is essential.
• Qualified to NVQ, IMI, ATA, or an equivalent qualification (preferred).
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting and refinishing, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
• Mix and apply paint using advanced refinishing techniques.
• Conduct colour matching and blending to manufacturer specifications.
• Complete repairs efficiently, maintaining high-quality standards.
• Perform final quality inspections prior to vehicle handover.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Panel and MET teams to ensure efficient repairs.
