You will prepare panels, mix colours to manufacturer specs, apply primers and coatings, and maintain safe working practices. The position emphasizes quality, teamwork, and ongoing development with career progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer or Vehicle Paint Technician.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and panels for painting.

• Carry out paint rectification and polishing as required.
• Maintain high standards of finish and presentation.

The Role

As a Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality vehicle finishes, ensuring every repair meets the highest standards before vehicles are returned to customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing vehicles and panels ready for the paint process.
• Mixing and colour matching paints to manufacturer specifications.
• Applying primer, basecoat and clearcoat using professional spray-painting techniques.
• Carrying out paint rectification and polishing where required.
• Maintaining exceptional standards of finish and presentation.
• Working closely with Panel Beaters, MET Technicians and the wider bodyshop team.
• Ensuring all work is completed efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Following all health, safety and environmental procedures.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / Paint Technician / Vehicle Paint Technician / Paint Refinisher who takes pride in producing first-class paint finishes.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Paint Sprayer, Paint Technician or Vehicle Paint Refinisher.
• Recognised qualification in Vehicle Refinishing (NVQ / IMI / City & Guilds / ATA or equivalent), with a commitment to continuous professional development.
• Excellent colour matching and blending skills.
• Experience working within a busy accident repair centre or bodyshop.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• The ability to work efficiently and meet agreed deadlines.
• A positive attitude and strong team-working skills.
• A full UK driving licence.
