Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer / Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician for our client in Castleford. You will prepare vehicles, apply paints to manufacturer standards and perform SMART repairs and minor panel work within a busy accident repair centre.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician.
• Ability to carry out high-quality paintwork from prep through to finish.
• Experience with strip and fit and minor panel repairs is advantageous.
• ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a busy team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for paint and refinish to manufacturer standards.
• Mix and apply paint to the correct colour and finish.
• Carry out high-quality paint refinishing across a range of vehicles.
• Perform SMART repairs and blending where required.
• Complete minor panel repairs and filler work.
• Strip and refit vehicle components as needed.
• Ensure repairs are efficient and meet high standards.
• Work to manufacturer and insurance repair methods.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop.

Paint Sprayer / Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician

Salary: Up to £20 per hour + Bonus (DOE)

Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday

Location: Castleford

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter / Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician to join a busy, well-established Accident Repair Centre.

The Role

As a Paint Sprayer / Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician, your duties will include:

• Preparing vehicles ready for paint.
• Mixing and applying paint to manufacturer standards.
• Carrying out high-quality paint refinishing on a wide range of vehicles.
• SMART repairs and blending where required.
• Completing minor panel repairs and filler work.
• Stripping and refitting vehicle components as required.
• Ensuring all repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Working to manufacturer and insurance repair methods.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

What We're Looking For
