Job summary

Holt Recruitment is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer / Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician in Castleford. The role offers up to £20 per hour with a bonus (DOE) and structure of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will prepare vehicles, apply paint, and perform refinishing and light panel work in a busy accident repair centre. Ideal candidates will have prior paint sprayer or bodyshop experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with the team.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician.
• ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for paint.
• Mix and apply paint to manufacturer standards.
• Carry out high-quality refinish work on a range of vehicles.
• Perform SMART repairs and blending as required.
• Complete minor panel repairs and filler work.
• Strip and refit components as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized workshop.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter / Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician to join a busy, well-established Accident Repair Centre. The Role

• Preparing vehicles ready for paint.
• Mixing and applying paint to manufacturer standards.
• Carrying out high-quality paint refinishing on a wide range of vehicles.
• SMART repairs and blending where required.
• Completing minor panel repairs and filler work.
• Stripping and refitting vehicle components as required.
• Ensuring all repairs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Working to manufacturer and insurance repair methods.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer or Multiskilled Bodyshop Technician.
• Ability to carry out high-quality paintwork from preparation through to final finish.
• Experience with strip and fit and minor panel repairs would be advantageous.
• ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a busy team.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
