Job summary

Auto Skills UK is seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer in Hereford to join a busy accident repair centre. You will prepare, colour-match and refinish vehicles to high standards using water-based paints and modern spray equipment.

The role offers 40-45 hours per week, full-time, with ongoing training and career development in a modern facility. A City & Guilds qualification is preferred, and strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Paint Sprayer or Vehicle Paint Technician in a busy bodyshop.
• Experience with water-based paint systems.
• City & Guilds qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent colour-matching and paint application skills.
• Strong attention to detail with pride in workmanship.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and panels for painting.

The Role

As a Paint Sprayer, you'll be responsible for preparing, colour matching and refinishing vehicles to an exceptional standard, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer specifications.

Your Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles and panels ready for the paint process.
• Mix and colour-match paints to achieve a flawless finish.
• Apply water-based paints using modern spray equipment.
• Carry out high-quality refinishing work from start to finish.

What We're Looking For
