Job summary

Bulgin invites motivated engineering students for a hands‑on, 8‑week paid placement in Cambridge. You will join our engineering development team, contributing to real projects and learning from industry experts.

Responsibilities include designing, prototyping, testing, and leadership within electro‑mechanical product development, with exposure to FEA, tolerance analysis, and 3D modelling in SolidWorks and PDM.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with CAD software and engineering principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail in design and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, and testing of electro‑mechanical products.
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses (e.g., FEA, tolerance analysis).
• Create 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks and PDM.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, product management, and quality teams.
• Participate in prototype testing, data analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and industry regulatory compliance.
