Job summary

SRG is offering an engineering internship in Cambridge for an aspiring Mechanical Engineer to join the Device Engineering team. You will engage in CAD design, technical analysis, prototyping, lab testing and reporting during a 3-month fixed-term contract with on-site hours.

The internship starts June 2027 and aims to provide mentorship, hands-on experience across the product development cycle, and opportunities to collaborate across functions in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Aptitude for mechanical design, underpinned by engineering theory.
• Bright, self-motivated and action-oriented with good time management.
• People skills and communication; comfortable asking questions.
• Must have completed a year of undergraduate Engineering at a UK university and be eligible for a summer internship.
• Some experience in engineering and product design, 3D CAD, and data acquisition/analysis.
