Job summary

Logic is seeking talented Summer and MEng Engineering Interns to join our teams in Edinburgh, Newbury, and London. You will work on embedded firmware, software tools, drivers, and system testing for industrial projects relevant to your degree.

You’ll write C/C++ and Python, gain exposure to Linux kernel development, CI/test automation, and collaborate with hardware engineers to deliver robust solutions for consumer products. Salary is competitive and locations are in the UK.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in MEng or BEng in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering or related degree and on track for a 2:1 or better.
• Some experience with development/evaluation of signal processing.
• Good understanding of software development principles.
• Interest in Embedded Systems.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on Embedded Firmware to develop, debug, and optimize firmware with hardware designers.
• Contribute to Software Tools by building cross-platform desktop tools and developer workflows.
• Assist Software Drivers by writing C code for Linux kernel drivers and automated tests.
• Support System Test by creating automated functional, system, and stress tests on real hardware (FPGA to silicon).
