Job summary
Together Housing Group is offering an Apprentice Electrician role within its Property Services team. You will learn electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair while supporting qualified electricians across housing stock.
The programme combines on-the-job training with college assessments at Thrive Training Academy, with travel to Derby Academy as required. Salary starts in year 1 (£15,392) and increases to age-appropriate minimum wage in later years.
Qualifications
- Genuine interest in becoming a qualified electrician.
- Willingness to learn and develop practical electrical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to completing the apprenticeship programme.
- GCSEs Maths and English at entry level for apprenticeship entry.
Responsibilities
- Learn electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and repair techniques.
- Assist qualified electricians with maintenance across housing stock.
- Carry out work safely following regulations and safety procedures.
- Develop fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Complete college work and apprenticeship assessments with Thrive Training Academy.
