Job summary

Abri Group is looking for a proactive Apprentice Electrician to join the team in September 2025. You will work closely with your mentor to perform electrical tasks and installations across Abri's properties, while prioritising excellent customer service and safety.

As part of the apprenticeship, you will attend college and complete coursework to a high standard, supported by supervision and hands-on training in a housing stock environment.

Are you proactive, motivated, professional and friendly? We're looking for someone who is passionate and diligent to join our team as an Apprentice Electrician in September 2025. Working as a great team player, you'll assist your mentor in carrying out work and installations to Abri's properties in an efficient and effective manner ensuring that all works are in accordance to a good building maintenance practice. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do, so it’s very important your customer service skills are top notch – we want to always go above and beyond and amaze our customers with the services we provide.

Your Day Will Include

• Develop skills and competency relevant to electrical tasks to support and maintain the safety standards within our housing stock.
• Consistently develop & demonstrate an understanding of Health & Safety requirements, other relevant legislation and Codes of Practice.
• Notify electrically competent colleagues of any identified electrical or health & safety hazards, supporting with remedial action as requested to ensure compliance with agreed codes, law, working practices and health and safety.
• Being supported by your supervisor and a mentor.
• Attending college and completing all course work on time and to a high standard.
