Job summary

RSM UK offers a 12-month paid placement within our External Audit team as part of your sandwich degree. You will work alongside current trainees and experienced audit professionals, gaining practical experience on real client work and on-the-job training.

You’ll participate in risk-focused reviews of financial records and controls, helping ensure accuracy and building confidence among stakeholders. Start date is 14 September 2027, with opportunities to join graduate training programmes after

Qualifications

Possible UCAS points requirements (112 across three A levels or 104 across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or Irish Leaving Certificate)
Enrolled on a placement degree
Existing right to live and work in the UK
Strong written and verbal communication to convey complex information clearly
Ability to analyse and interpret data and work under pressure
Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required

Responsibilities

Join audit team and contribute to client work from day one
Work with trainees and experienced professionals on real client engagements
Conduct risk-focused reviews of clients' financial records, processes and controls
