Job summary

RSM UK – External Audit is offering a 12-month paid placement as part of your sandwich degree. You will gain practical experience alongside experienced audit professionals, perform client work, and benefit from on-the-job training and internal courses to develop through the year.

You’ll join a team conducting risk-focused reviews, working with owner-managed and large listed clients, charities, and not-for-profit organisations.

Qualifications

• UCAS points requirements for placement (minimums specified in ad)
• Must be enrolled on a sandwich/placement degree
• Right to work in the UK for the role
• Strong written and verbal communication to convey complex information
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems
• Excellent interpersonal and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records, processes and controls
• Ensure accuracy of financial statements and build trust with stakeholders
• Collaborate with audit team on client work and training programs
