Job summary

RSM UK is offering a 12-month paid placement in External Audit as part of a sandwich degree. You will work alongside trainees and experienced audit professionals, gaining practical client-facing experience and on-the-job training throughout the year.

Your role involves risk-focused reviews of clients' financial records, processes and controls to help ensure accuracy of financial statements and build trust with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum UCAS points as specified for degree entry and admissions.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication to convey complex information.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to support audits.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-focused reviews of client financial records, processes and controls.
• Assist in delivering accurate financial statement work for clients.
• Support audit team on client engagements and develop working papers.
• Interact with clients and teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
