Job summary

RSM UK is offering a 12-month paid placement in external audit as part of your sandwich degree. You’ll work alongside current trainees and experienced audit professionals, gaining practical client experience and on-the-job training.

You’ll conduct risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records and controls, with access to internal training as you develop. Start date is 14 September 2027, with potential for a graduate programme after graduation.

Qualifications

• Effective written and verbal communication to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to analyse and interpret data to solve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough, risk-focused reviews of clients’ financial records and controls.
• Work on client projects from day one, initially as part of a larger team.
