Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a passionate paediatric physiotherapist to join the orthopaedic/musculoskeletal team on a permanent basis, working 19.25 hours per week in a Band 7 role.

You will lead the service alongside current band 7s, with an outpatient caseload and clinic involvement, plus some ward support for the inpatient team. Exceptional paediatric experience and resilience are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant post-registration paediatric physiotherapy experience (minimum 3 years).
• Broad experience with children with complex musculoskeletal conditions.
• Excellent emotional resilience and ability to work with patients and families facing poor prognosis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the orthopaedic/musculoskeletal service and supervise the band 7 team.
• Manage outpatient caseload with clinic involvement and some ward work.
• Support band 6 on the inpatient ward and contribute to paediatric respiratory weekend/out-of-hours services.
