Job summary

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals is seeking a Highly Specialist Paediatric Physiotherapist – Team Lead for Perseid Schools, to join the bank for ESTH Trust. The role is full-time, term-time hours, Monday to Friday, delivering specialist paediatric physiotherapy services to children with SEND within education and community settings.

The post requires extensive post-registration specialist paediatric experience, leadership capacity, and ability to supervise Band 6 staff while developing

Qualifications

• Significant post-registration Specialist paediatric physiotherapy experience with children and young people with SEND and complex needs.
• Experience undertaking CPIP assessments and supporting children in education, community and clinical settings.
• Skilled in evidence-based assessment, treatment planning, goal setting and outcome measurement.
• Experience leading or developing services within multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of clinical governance, risk assessment, safeguarding and record keeping standards.
• Experience delivering training and advice to families, carers, education staff and healthcare professionals.
• Experience supervising and appraising staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery and development of physiotherapy services within Perseid schools.
• Support Service Manager in planning, performance monitoring and service improvement.
• Build relationships with schools, families, and external agencies.
